March 18, 2016 — Girls with curves! Dames with trains! Kicking off the Friday night shows of Los Angeles Fashion Week, Cosmogyral designer Jenine Nerecina revealed a collection of formal wear for a variety of seasons, sensibilities and body types.

From tropical to futuristic with sheer layers over structured silhouettes, ruffled skirts and jewel tones each of the designs was suited to the model’s specific body type. Sheer makeup and old world up dos conveyed al fresco and ethereal elegance. The sapphire velvet gown perfectly anchored the extremes of the collection, and guests gasped when the burgundy gown featuring a sheer 10+ ft long train emerged onto the runway.

The aesthetic of Cosmogyral collections is a fusion of the designer’s dreams and reality; for the traveler, adventurer, and wanderlust in every woman. The collections are designed for women of all ages and sizes, who like to whirl around the universe in beautiful, experimental clothing. The designer’s goal is to endorse garments made in Los Angeles, exhibit that American-made products are high-quality, and promote the luxurious Los Angeles lifestyle.
