SUMMARY:Community First - Food for Life
DESCRIPTION:Join Community First for our Spring event\, Food for Life\, where we will be raising money to help Cambodian farming communities dealing with chronic malnutrition. \nFor these subsistence farmers\, food is a matter of survival. In the beautiful setting of the Los Angeles Arboretum in Arcadia\, we will learn about growing food with an aquaponics system demonstration and will share a wonderful meal prepared with aquaponics-based products. We will also hear the latest news on Community First’s projects in rural Cambodia. \n\n\nCommunity First works to develop partnerships with poor rural communities in order to provide support and learn from one another. \nSince our founding\, we’ve developed lasting relationships with rural villages in Cambodia and have developed effective programs to address global challenges.
