This year marks the 15th year of Dancescape LA and they are excited that it will be hosted by Chehon Wespi-Tschopp, winner of the most recent season of “So You Think You Can Dance” on FOX. He will be joined by an amazing line up of dance talent from across Southern California.

Dancescape LA features original works by more than 25 different choreographers and dance companies representing a wide variety of dance types. Our performers specialize in everything from ballet, hip-hop,modern, lyrical, belly dance, jazz, burlesque, salsa, to traditional Indian, breakdancing, and martial arts. The stage alternately features soloists, small groups, and large ensembles ranging in age from high school students to seasoned professionals. Past productions have included dancers and choreographers from stage and screen, including SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, The LXD, the STEP UP movie franchise, GLEE, SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, and many more.

Cheshire Moon creates collaborative “live” event opportunities, like Dancescape LA, for dance professionals, pre-professionals, and student artists through performances, community events, and educational programs. All funds raised from this performance will be donated to classrooms in the Los Angeles area and extra-curricular programs that help keep the arts alive in our public schools.
