Megan made headlines by coming out and becoming one of the few “out” Olympians at the 2012 Olympic Games in London where there were only 23 out Olympians of the 10\,490 participating athletes. \n“At our 41st Anniversary Gala & Auction\, we’re planning to talk about what we’re looking forward to and the forward-looking work of the Center to help realize that future… The sports world is a frontier where the battle to eradicate homophobia has a long way to go.
