SUMMARY:The Glitter Run
DESCRIPTION:The Glitter Run is a first-of-its-kind 5K fun run/walk that celebrates diversity and benefits the Los Angeles LGBT Center\, including its newest initiative\, Mi Centro\, a partnership with the Latino Equality Alliance that offers a variety of support services in Boyle Heights\, including immigration and asylum assistance. \nWithin view of iconic landmarks including the Hollywood sign\, TCL Chinese Theatre\, and the Capitol Records building\, you and thousands of other “color-filled” participants will traverse historic Hollywood Boulevard while passing through seven glitter stations. At these stations\, volunteers will sprinkle different colors of non-toxic\, washable—and fabulously vibrant—glitter on the participants. \nFinish your run through the rainbow and collect your medal\, then enjoy our massive Dazzling Dance Party. It will feature some of L.A.’s most celebrated DJs\, awesome live performances\, a collection of the city’s most popular food trucks\, fun photo opportunities and specially-designed lighting to showcase the glittering participants in a totally immersive dance experience. \nCreated and produced by MZA Events.
