DANCESCAPE LA Celebrates Its 10th Anniversary

Cheshire Moon’s signature benefit performance returns to Club Nokia for a Gala event, on Wednesday, May 14.

The 10th Anniversary Gala event, a unique celebration of dance and philanthropy, will be the best yet. Countless music videos, tours and stage productions bring more than 20 different dance pieces to life in a variety of genres. In addition, the event includes a full bar, food for purchase by Wolfgang Puck and a red carpet.

DANCESCAPE presents its sixteenth benefit dance concert in the LA Live Complex. The show features more than 200 professional dancers from SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE, AMERICA’S BEST DANCE CREW and other professional groups around Southern California.

Jamie Gregor founded DANCESCAPE in 2004 to facilitate support for arts education and opportunities for aspiring dance professionals. Gregor annually unites the Southern California dance community together as a force for positive change through an unforgettable performance.

“DANCESCAPE attendees enjoy a showcase of some of the most exciting and up-and-coming performers in the dance world, while making a difference for thousands of students, teachers and families,” according to the event’s organizers. “Each ticket sold plays a part in ensuring that art, music and dance is preserved in our city’s schools, with 100 percent of the proceeds donated to the cause. Since partnering with DonorsChoose.org in 2007, DANCESCAPE has impacted more than 6,000 students in the LA area.”
