The Beverly Hills/Greater Los Angeles Association of Realtors (BHGLAAR) held the 116th Annual Installation Gala to induct the new officers of the board, which celebrates the service of real estate professionals in the Greater Los Angeles community. The organization hosted the Roaring Twenties themed event on the stage of the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, on January 19, 2019.
Congresswoman Maxine Waters (CA-43), Chairwoman of the House Financial Services Committee, and famous for “reclaiming my time” spent some of that valuable reclaimed time as an honored guest at the gala. Seated elegantly on the stage of the Dolby, the guests welcomed Rep. Waters, who spoke of her admiration for real estate professionals. Throughout the evening she chatted and posed for photos with other guests and the newly installed BHGLAAR Board.
“I am honored to serve as your president, joining the ranks of an esteemed list of Los Angeles leaders dating back to our founding in 1903. That is two years before the California Association of Realtors, and that is five years before the National Association of Realtors. We have been the leading course in real estate,” incoming BHGLAAR President, Realtor Marco Rufo. “I thank you from the bottom of my heart for joining me in this effort, and moving this association forward and expressing all of your concerns and dreams.”
