Welcome to the Greater Los Angeles Pasadena
Out of the Darkness Community Walk

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention is dedicated to saving lives and bringing hope to those affected by suicide. AFSP creates a culture that’s smart about mental health through education and community programs, develops suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provides support for those affected by suicide.

The route starts and ends at the Central Park in Pasadena. The 2.4 mile route goes along the north side of Colorado Blvd and then turns around on Lake to continue along the south side of Colorado Blvd. Part of the route is on the Historic Route 66! It is fully accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.

There is paid parking throughout Old Town Pasadena including a parking garage across from the park on Raymond called the Del Mar Metro Station. Please note that the metered parking surrounding the park is time limited and you may get ticketed.

Please help promote the event through your social media outlets with #OOTDWalkLA and share your photos with #OutoftheDarkness.
