Scene Stealers Give Back
The Cause
The Scene Stealers Team for Concrete Hero was created to support life-saving services provided by AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA) for the over 60,000 people living with HIV/AIDS in Los Angeles. Concrete Hero is a 6K obstacle course/marathon that will take place on July 15 in Downtown L.A. Participants will hurdle, climb and crawl through, over and under replicas of the Hollywood sign, Carmagedon and the La Brea Tar Pits all to benefit APLA.
The Revelers
Hosts Prudential Beverly Hills Branch Manager Nick Cacarnakis, Effie Magazine Editor-in-chief F. E. Cornejo, Coldwell Banker Realtor John Abreu and Joe Fordi. The event was sponsored by Prudential Realty Beverly Hills.
The Setting
Sadie LA’s mix of sexy and sad made the perfect back drop for the charity fund-raiser. Attendees mingled over Gin Gimlets and glasses of Pinot while enjoying hors d’oeuvres and bidding on the silent auction. Sadie donated a percentage of its proceeds from the event to Concrete Hero/APLA.
