The Gay & Lesbian Wedding Event

So, how is a gay wedding expo different from a regular wedding expo? Well, the cocktails are better and free flowing, the waiters’ pants are tighter and the desserts are photographed rather than eaten.

High above a beautifully deserted DTLA, on the the 51st floor of the City National Tower at City Club Los Angeles a surprising number of large corporations mixed in with smaller businesses, designers and jewelers made their pitches to gays and lesbians in search of wedding solutions. Also surprising and refreshing were the innovations that were offered by several of the vendors, like wedding finance counseling that transitions into lifetime financial planning, complimentary wedding wine tasting and selection parties, electric violins playing classic music alongside dj mixes and one of a kind European jewelry designed specifically for lover.

Vendors included Ace Hotel Palm Springs, AENEA – Jewellery for Lovers, Bed, Bath & Beyond Registry, BevMo Weddings, Fantasy Frostings, Lucques Catering, Luna Gardens Events with The Langham Huntington Pasadena, Hollywood Roosevelt, Scarlette Bartending, Wolfgang Puck and so many more. There was even a sighting of Jai Rodriguez of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy fame. For those who missed it due to Palm Springs Pride, not to worry, there will certainly be another HITCHED event.
