THE REASON Honor PAC held its inaugural gala, “It’s a Love Affair,” to celebrate seven years of victories in helping elect openly LGBT Latin leaders throughout California, on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the Japanese American National Museum.
THE REVELERS Notable speakers included California State Senator, Ricardo Lara, Assemblywoman, Susan Talamantes Eggman, Assembly Speaker-Elect, Toni Atkins, Speaker of the Assembly, John A. Perez, Honor PAC President, Alfred Fraijo Jr. and President Obama’s Inaugural Poet, Richard Blanco.
THE RECAP Guests sipped on sparkling wine and cognac cocktails, while openly LGBT Latin elected officials and their supporters expressed how their successes came with the help of Honor PAC.
