Business & Pleasure: Carson House’s Private Pre-Opening

“Though Los Angeles has been home to many an upscale lounge, countless comfortable eateries and a handful of classic-style pubs, nobody has ever attempted to meld those three sensibilities into an exciting new locale that prides itself on friends, family, and the pursuit of a good time… until now. Welcome to Carson House in Beverly Hills!”

THE REASON Los Angeles foodies and Beverly Hills society gathered for the Private Pre-Opening of Carson House in Beverly Hills, on Wednesday, May 22. THE REVELERS Decade-old friends and business partners Scott Paletz and Steve Fowler welcomed guests to the “upscale venue with a home-like feel that features incredible food, delicious drinks and an always-enjoyable evening.” Guests included Prudential California Realty Beverly Hills Manager, Nick Cacarnakis, AIDS Service Center Pasadena, Executive Director, Anthony Guthmiller and DJ Griffin White. THE RECAP Visual attractions included the original works by artist Mark Jacobs, which framed the dining room and the extremely attractive staff who kept the guests at peace with cocktails and trays of food. Guests clustered at the bar for crafted cocktails like the Rodeo Rose Martini and the Crescent while they marveled over the flaming pizza oven and reminisced over the history of the space, which was previously Andre’s of Beverly Hills and Andre’s La Trattoria di Beverly Hills then Porterhouse Bistro and most recently Delfini Citta.

“I like taking things that are maybe not so glamorous, and making them more glamorous,” said Chef Johnny Messina. “Everything on the menu is a little bit of my heart and soul.”

Carson House officially opens on June 4.
