REASON Celebrating the new season and advances social emotional education, hundreds of guests joined Professional Child Development Associates (PCDA) for the annual Harvest Moon Gala Dinner & Art Auction held at the South Pasadena home of Mario & Therese Molina, on October 1st.
REVELERS In attendance were prominent Pasadena realtors, education enthusiasts and PCDA supporters: Leah & Kirk Dilbeck, Lin & Alan Vlacich, Chelby Crawford, Carolyn & Craig Watson, Virginia Ko and Dr. Diane Cullinane, PCDA Executive Director.
RECAP Guests were welcomed to the lush estate with a backdrop of live music, striking and colorful works of art up for auction, and a plentiful silent auction made up of various treasures from gowns and jewels to sports memorabilia and culinary experiences.
The three-course dinner created by celebrated Pasadena chef Claud Beltran featured blackened rib eye and smoked shrimp, polished off by an apple accented cinnamon custard.
The evenings’ highlights included a mini concert from several PCDA clients, the presentation of the PCDA Community Service Award to South Pasadena City Council-member Robert S. “Bob” Joe and presentation of the PCDA Achievement Award to PCDA Teen Club program member Ethan Uy.
