Fashion, Food & Philanthropy: DPA Group’s Pre-Emmy Gifting Event

THE REASON Celebrities, entrepreneurs and the media reveled in some pre-Emmy festivities at the “2015 Pre-Awards DPA Gifting Lounge” hosted by Nathalie Dubois-Sissoko at the Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel, on September 17 – 19.

THE REVELERS  Special guests included Beau Bridges, Dot-Marie Jones (Glee), Daniel Franzese (Looking), Khandi Alexander (CSI: Miami & Scandal), Gary Cole (Veep) & Melissa Disney. Event participants included Amara Coffee, Tea & Cocoa, Carvery Kitchen, Faucet Face, High Brew Coffee, Icebox Water, Kneady Bakery, M. Andrew Sartorial Luxury, Milena’s boutique, Underground Culture, R System Paris, Sai Suman Couture, Shann Christen, Tiffany Anderson – Gavée Gold and the Lupus L.A. organization.

THE RECAP The three-day event was held in the penthouse overlooking Rodeo Drive. DPA staff escorted guests through the festivities and introduced them to the crowd of charming product representatives. Guests enjoyed tastings of food and beverages, demonstrations of beauty products, wardrobe fittings and aromatherapy.

Hi-lights included Kneady Bakery’s “Game of Thrones” Scones, High Brew Coffee’s “Mexican Vanilla,” Sai Suman’s electric blue jacket, M. Andrews’ blue loafers and Underground Culture’s “$1 Per Bottle” campaign benefiting youth arts/music programs. Additionally, the charms of Milena Popovich, R Sytem’s Catalina Guillen Rozo, Shann Christen and the sisters of Amara Coffee kept guests enthralled. Everyone in attendance left with a smile on their face, dozens of swag bags in their arms, and a better understanding of Lupus LA’s advocacy/awareness efforts.
