THE REASON
Project Angel Food held its annual food-lovers event, “DELISH” at the new Siren Cube at Siren Studios in Hollywood, on Sept. 29.

THE REVELERS
Celebrities enjoying the event included; Co-Host Annabeth Gish (from FX’s latest hit “The Bridge”), Tom Lenk, Carolyn Hennesy, Hal Sparks, Chloe Noelle, Mark Cirillo, Trevor Knight and his fiancé David Bradberry, Lindsay Seim, Ashley Palmer, Desiree Hall, Ben Lawson, Ricky Rebel, Mika Newton, DJ ID Required (son of actress Regina King), Mason Vale Cotton and his brother Maxwell Perry Cotton. Additional host committee members include Bill Damaschke, Lisa & Dave Dinsmore, Kacy & Kirk DeMicco, and Sheraton Kalouria, as well as Project Angel Food board member, Mark Margolis and Jacqui Farina, Director of Special Events and Marketing.

THE RECAP
More than a food tasting, the event showcased a blend of food and beverage stations from a wide range of vendors serving the best and latest of their creations. Amping up the family friendly element, DELISH introduced a section just for kids: “Sweets, Candies and Crafts” featuring lollipop trees, healthy snacks, cupcake, apron & chef hat decorating, a candy “bar” and lounge, and a “Happy Birthday” bag decorating station for use in celebrating the upcoming birthdays of Project Angel Food clients. Project Angel Food also partnered with Hasbro to give away Easy-Bake Ovens.

The culinary experts and beverage masters included;  Art of Tea, Aunt Mary’s Sweetery,Barrymore Wine, Bird Pick Tea & Herb, Chambord, Dassai Sake, Deep Eddy Vodka, Early Times Fire Eater, El Jimador, Handsome Coffee Roasters, Hip Chick Farms, Jack Daniels RTD, Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey, Kitchen 24, Marco Paolo Chocolates, Marino Ristorante, Mark & Stephen’s, Mwokaji Cakery, Pop Chips, Pretzel Crisps, The Shugah Mama, Tortilla Republic West Hollywood, Ventura Limoncello, and World Empanadas.

All proceeds will benefit Project Angel Food and its mission to nourish the body and spirit of men, women and children affected by HIV/AIDS, cancer, and other life-threatening illnesses. DELISH was sponsored by Time Warner Cable, Tortilla Republic West Hollywood, Brooks Brothers, Brown-Forman Beverages, FlatRate Moving, Hasbro, and Trailer Park.
