Road To Rio: Five Acres Swanky Cocktails 2016

Just because you won’t be in Ipanema or on Copacabana Beach
during the 2016 Olympics doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate as
if you were! And, just because you’re a parent or guardian
doesn’t mean you have to give up celebrating! 

Five Acres’s annual “Swanky Cocktails” arrived in South Pasadena by way of Rio, on July 8th. The summertime friendraiser invited Five Acres supporters to gather their friends to learn more about the organization’s 128 years of service to Los Angeles county children and families.

The “Road To Rio” themed event featured Brazil’s national cocktail the Caipirinha, Samba Dancers, dance lessons, art raffle, Brazilian appetizers and an address from board chair Ryan Dietz. For more information, visit www.5acres.org.
