Grateful & Golden Globes Gifting Suite 2017
The 2017 awards season kicked off with gold and gratitude at the DPA Group pre-Golden Globes Gifting Suite event, held at the LUXE Rodeo Drive Hotel. From gold dust martinis to gold buddha necklaces, the artistic achievements of film/television professionals were celebrated, and in turn, the altruistic and creative offerings of visionaries were given the spotlight.
The annual event was attended by many household names, like Anthony Anderson, Angela Bassett, Beau Bridges, Viola Davis, Felicity Huffman, Sebastian Roché, Sharon Stone, Brenda Strong, Waleed Zuaiter and many more. Adding to glamour was an extra special philanthropic presence, Lupus LA returned to raise awareness about the disease and upcoming events. First-time participants Waka Waka Solar Power and Love Light Compassion Foundation gifted their unique products, which make up a large part of their fundraising programs.
By sharing her passion for raising, and donating 100% of Love Light Compassion Foundation proceeds to emergency financial assistance for patients and their families undergoing a major medical crisis, President Tracy Appleton bonded with the altruistically minded guests, including Sharon Stone, Angela Bassett, Felicity Huffman, Viola Davis, Shonda Rhimes and Waleed Zuaiter.
Among the highlights of the gifting lounge were Allaire Collection Privée’s “Hell Or High Water” Martini, glam/edge Tahitian pearl creations from Turia My Pearl, accessories combining jewels, fur, feathers and leather by Creations Youd, ultra pure and scientifically advance skin care developed by the glamorous Jacqueline Piotaz and LINGER Fragrance Primer presented the dynamic Abby Wallach. However, the most exciting aspect of the event was hearing the stories of how these entrepreneurs developed their passions into products.
