THE RECAP The clouds parted and the sun shone on the event featuring 50 leading California and Oregon wineries  pouring pinots, chardonnays, syrahs. Scrumptious fare by Estate Catering at The Huntington was accompanied by live music from saxophonist Michael Lington. VIP guests enjoyed delectable crispy crab cakes and mouth-watering beef tenderloin burgers and treated to a special celebrity sommelier wine tasting; gorgeous floral arrangements and centerpieces were donated by Margit Holakoui Florist.

The best tastings of the day included longtime favorites Babcock Winery, Loring Wine Company and Alma Rosa Winery & Vineyards, along with new discoveries Phantom Rivers Winery, Romililly Wines, Congress Springs 2013 Pinot Noir and Belle Glos 2013 Dairyman Pinot Noir. But, the most decadent tasting of the day happened at the Choctal Ice Cream tent. YUM!
