THE REASON Unwrap The Present is a life (coaching) cabaret written and performed by Sonja Alarr, who held a reception and performance in The Verandah Room II at the Peninsula Beverly Hills. THE REVELERS Day Of Our Lives cast members; Shawn Christian, James Scott, Drake Hogestyn and Alison Sweeny. Days Of Our Lives and Young and the Restless director, Albert Alarr. THE RECAP The audience members enjoyed a pre and post-show cocktail reception. The cabaret chronicles Alarr’s journey from an aspiring actress facing disappointment and searching for meaning to a housewife and mother, and finally to a state of peace and joy as a life coach. She sang selections from Into the Woods, Mary Poppins, The Color Purple, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and Wicked.
