Gratitude & Drive: Villa Esperanza’s Party & Book Drive

“Hope Moves Forward.”

THE REASON  The Villa Esperanza Services Board of Directors hosted a holiday party to celebrate the staff, volunteers, donors and clients at Mijares Restaurant, on December 1st. The annual event also served as a book drive.

THE REVELERS & RECAP   Mijares served up magnificent margaritas and a buffet dinner for the guests, who included Jane and Ken Parsons, Jonathan Weedman, Kelly White, Casey Gregg, Michelle Cox, Gioia Pastre and former board member Rob Berry. Both CEO Kelly White and Board Chair Candice Rogers thanked the crowd of supporters and expressed their admiration for the agency’s clients. The highlight of the evening occurred when some of the clients got up to the microphone and sang “Happy Birthday” to Rogers.
