In the early 1960s, Judy Garland record her version of “You Go To My Head,” a song in which love is compared to a variety of alcoholic beverages. With the arrival of a new Garland show, End of the Rainbow at the Ahmanson, and Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras we are feeling the same way. We love Love, we love beautiful stuff and just like Judy we love booze.
So, whether you’re celebrating the love in your life, looking to get some love in your life or just celebrating before you go into your yearly Lenten lock-down; here is a collection of stuff that has gone to our heads “like the bubbles in a glass of champagne.” From a meal inspired by the culinary genius of the world’s best Jamaican jerk sauce, by Jabberwocky Foods to a beautiful toast with Waterford champagne flutes, we hope your February and Spring festivities are more opulent, vastly impressive and excessively yummy.
Eat, Drink, Play and Love! Repeat.
